Tai Chi is a meditative activity that promotes a stabilizing affect on the practitioners spirit, mind and body. Through a series of movements, every membrane, tendon, muscle and joint gently interact in a coordinated fashion. Achieving a sense of balance in one's life through practice is it's ultimate goal.
He has medaled in national as well as international competitions in Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan, hand and weapons, Bagua Zhang, hand and weapons and Sun Style sword. In 2018, he was a member on the U.S. Kuo Shu National Team that competed in the 6th World Kuo Shu Championship Tournament, receiving a Silver Medal in Bagua Zhang hand form. Other notable masters of influence are Yang Jwing-Ming, Jesse Tsao, Paul Ramos and Norm Smith.
He continues his own study as well as teaching hand and weapon forms at Siu Lum Academy while heading the Tai Chi for Health programs offered there.
Chi Kung - Movements designed to stretch, strengthen and awaken the bodies energy points.
Tai Chi Chuan - Hand and weapon forms that range from beginner to advanced.
Tai Chi Ball - Exercises utilizing wooden balls of various sizes and weights to strengthen the body and add to a better understanding of hand and weapon forms.
Morning and afternoon classes are offered based on interest.
